The End dimension now features more lush vegetation in the Velvet Grove biome.
Generation
The Velvet Grove cannot generate on the Main Ender Dragon Island, but will generate on any other End Island in the End dimension, this biome still permits other structures to spawn.
Features
The Velvet Grove gets its name from the layer of End Velvet on the surface, this is the “Grass Block” of the End dimension. Here you will find a variety of new plants, including the new Void Cap, Glare Pod, and End Vane “trees”.
In the air you can find floating Endslate pillars with Void Mold growing on the sides. And underground you can find Viridium Ore deposits.
On the underside of the Velvet Grove, you can find Void Ivy, so if you are flying low below the islands with a Hot Air Balloon or Elytra you will be shown when you come across a Velvet Grove.
