Usage
The Hot Air Balloon is an air vehicle that can be used as an alternative to the Happy Ghast earlier in the game.
You can ride the balloon by interacting with it once it is placed in the world, players, chests, and Cannons can ride along in the Hot Air Balloon basket. To equip a Cannon or Chest to the balloon, just interact with the placed balloon whilst holding either one in your main hand. You can access the Chest inventory by opening your inventory whilst riding the balloon.
Break the balloon to retrieve either Cannons or Chests that have been equipped to it.
To raise in the air, the player must deposit coal from their hand into the balloon by interacting. This will elevate the balloon for a short period, after which it will begin to fall again.
Along with the wind, you can steer the balloon using your normal directional movement keys. Do not crouch or jump as this will dismount you from the balloon.
Crafting
The Hot Air Balloon can be dyed using any of the sixteen dyes.
