To fit in with the liminal feeling of the End, Hanging Towers get close to the void and invite the player to explore dangerously for treasure.
Features
Hanging Towers can be found under some End islands, and can be accessed with their own Elytra landing platform. Alternatively you can throw an ender pearl or mine down to the tower, but be careful as the tower has holes directly to the void.
Shulkers and Endermen spawn around and on each of the three tower variants. Along with them you will find loot chests, Viridium Ore, and an Elytra.
