Behavior

The Ender Drake has two age states, when you first hatch the Dragon Egg the Ender Drake will be a baby.
As a baby Ender Drake:
  • It can only walk on land
  • It cannot be mounted or saddled
  • It will follow the player that hatched the Egg
  • Can be interacted with to make it sit, similar to Dogs and Cats
  • It attacks hostile mobs only
  • Can be fed Chorus Fruit to heal and increase its age
  • As a mature Ender Drake:
  • It can fly
  • It can be mounted and saddled
  • It stays still in area it was last interacted with
  • If you jump whilst riding, it shoots a dragon breath ball
  • You can attach a chest for storage, similar to Donkeys and Mules

  • Spawning

To spawn the Ender Drake, similar to respawning the Ender Dragon you must place four Ender Crystals within a three block radius of the Dragon Egg.
The Ender Dragon will drop a new Dragon Egg on death to allow multiple players to get an Ender Drake.
